What it is:

The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for marketing and communications activities that align with Stellar's brand standards. The Coordinator will increase customer awareness of Stellar products, services, news, and notifications by developing and delivering relevant, valuable, and informative content, often targeted to specific audiences.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, this role involves market research, content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis to drive brand awareness and achieve business objectives. The Coordinator's marketing and communications strategies help drive customer satisfaction and further position Stellar as one of the leading MLS companies in the country.

What you'll do:

This is an hourly, non-exempt, full-time role. Your essential duties and responsibilities will consist of:

  • Develop deadline-driven communications and marketing plans based on project and/or company needs.
  • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and digital advertising, press releases, product launches, product updates, company announcements, industry news, surveys etc. for external and internal audiences.
  • Work closely with our digital designer to create content that supports marketing and communications efforts, such as guides, infographics, images, and videos.
  • Help maintain brand integrity for Stellar and Stellar partner vendors through consistent use of brand identity, key messaging, and other brand standards.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice/tone and messaging guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency in the company's messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  • Assist in managing communication during crises, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports (Excel/Google Sheets) on marketing activities and outcomes.
  • Create and source content for Stellar's' social media channels, responding to customers, as needed.
  • Update and optimize SEO, company website content and Stellar Central as needed.
  • Track and analyze website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics.
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal marketing strategies relating to broader campaigns and strategic directions.
  • Support internal events and meetings to enhance employee engagement.
  • Assist in planning and organizing marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, and product launches.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must record all hours worked. If overtime is ever worked (over 40 hours) advanced approval is required from the department manager
  • Timely and regular attendance is an essential function of the position; being physically present in the work environment is an essential job function.
  • Cross-training for other departmental functions is expected and required.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment both in the office and remotely (in the state of Florida).

To succeed in this role, the Marketing Coordinator will need a particular skill set. For this position, those include:

  • Proven ability to write clearly and effectively for various audiences, B2B & B2C experience preferred.
  • Experience handling multiple projects at the same time while simultaneously meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with experience interacting, responding, and resolving customer engagements.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications best practices, tools, with strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of APA style preferred, with additional experience properly citing data sources.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player, able to be efficient independently.
  • Maintain professionalism with customers, vendors, and staff always.
  • Real Estate industry experience preferred.
  • Creative design experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Emphasis on Spanish) and ability to translate technical documents preferred.

2. Essential Physical Skills

  • Acceptable vision and hearing (with or without correction)
  • Bending on occasion and lifting up to approximately 30 pounds occasionally
  • Standing and walking approximately 2 or more hours a day
  • Talking and sitting for long periods of time, approximately 8-10 hours a day
  • Writing and/or typing for long periods of time, approximately 8-10 hours a day

3. Education, Certifications, and Software Skills

  • BA/BS in a Communications or Marketing field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphics/video tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hootsuite or other Social Management platforms
  • Experience with email marketing, particularly in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/CRM is a plus.
  • Experience with PPC campaigns; Google, Meta, etc.
